Alternative Energy (Curriculum Only)

Our lives have become more dependent on public utilities and with the price of goods and services rising it is becoming increasingly incentivizing to begin living without the need for these services. In 2020 over 1.7 billion people lived off-grid worldwide with over 250,000 of them living in the United States. This PIL lab will expose students to solar and wind energy while they design an off-grid tiny home in order to reduce the housing carbon footprint and monthly utility costs.
